During my internship at Snook, a Scottish Service Design agency, I worked on the first stage of Project 99 which explored young people's relationship to mental health and digital media. The first stage focused on research with experts and young people through co-design workshops and interviews. We also worked with Ideation in the form of co-creation workshops around future services.

The research work included a collection of case studies which I llustrated (see illustrations above) as well as a mapping of existing initiatives in the field (see image above). We also created guidelines for further stages of the project.

I worked closely with Snook Service designer Roberta Knox during the project. My work included creating workshop tools and leading workshop excercises. I also took part in analysing, visualising and mapping the research, including illustrating the case studies and case study ideas from the young people.

Project 99 was later rebranded as “Aye Mind” an EU-funded initiative that has developed a platform for encouraging positive approaches to youth wellbeing – with material for both young people and those who work with them.
